Prior to my tattoo, I received verbal and written information about the following and discussed it with my Artist or establishment operator.

1) A brief description of tattoo procedure

2) Any precautions for or to take before my tattoo

3) A description of my risks and possible consequences of tattoo services; 4) Instructions for aftercare and restrictions following my tattoo

5) Restrictions against tattooing minors.

I am at least 18 years of age. I do not have a heart condition. I am not pregnant. I am not under the  influence of drugs or alcohol. To my knowledge, I do not have any Physical, Mental, medical impairment,  disability, including allergies to any ink which may affect my well being as a direct or indirect result decision to have any tattoo/ piercing work done. I agree to follow all instructions concerning the care of my tattoo/ piercing while it is healing. I agree that any touch up work needed due to my own negligence will be done at my own expense. I understand that if my skin is dark or tanned that the colors of my tattoo will not appear as bright as they do on light skin. I have been fully informed of the inherent risk associated with Getting A tattoo/Piercing therefor, I fully understand that these risk known and unknown, can lead to injury including but not limited to: INFECTION, SCARING, ALLERGIC REACTION  TO TATTOO PIGMENT AND EVEN DEATH. I, BEING OF SOUND MIND AND BODY, I HEREBY RELEASE ANY AND ALL PERSON(S) REPRESENTING ARTICULTURE STUDIOZ FROM ALL RESPONSIBILITY. I ACCEPT ANY AND ALL RESPONSIBILITY MYSELF FOR ANY AND ALL CONSEQUENCES FROM MY DECISION TO  HAVE ANY TATTOO / PIERCING RELATED WORK DONE BY ANYONE REPRESENTING THE BUSINESS KNOWN AS ARTICULTURE STUDIOZ. I AGREE MYSELF, HEIRS, ASSIGNS, AND LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE TO HOLD ARTICULTURE STUDIOZ  HARMLESS FROM ANY & ALL DAMAGES, CAUSE(S) OF ACTION, CLAIMS, JUDGMENT, COST OF LITIGATION, ATTORNEY FEES AND ALL OTHER COST AND EXPENSES, WHICH MIGHT ARISE FROM MY DECISION TO HAVE ANY TATTOO OR PIERCING RELATED WORK DONE BY ANYONE CURRENTLY REPRESENTING ARTICULTURE STUDIOZ.. I GIVE ARTICULTURE STUDIOZ AND ITS REPRESENTATIVE(S) FULL PERMISSION TO TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEO, OR RECORDINGS OF ME AND TO USE THOSE PHOTOGRAPHS, VIDEOS, OR  RECORDINGS AS THEY SEE FIT WITH NO COMPENSATION FOR MYSELF . I UNDERSTAND  THAT ANY ARTIST CLAIMING TO BE IN AN AGENT OF ARTICULTURE STUDIOZ/ TATTBUZZ, THAT PERFORMS ANY PROCEDURE OFF PREMISES IS NOT LEGITIMATE, I AGREE TO LEAVE THE PREMISES OF ARTICULTURE STUDIOZ PROMPTLY UPON REQUEST FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, BY ANY AGENT OR  EMPLOYEE OF ARTICULTURE STUDIOZ. I AGREE THAT THESE  WAIVERS ALSO PERTAIN TO AND ARE DESIGNED TO PROTECT ANY AND ALL ESTABLISHMENTS WHERE ARTICULTURE STUDIOZ  MAY CONDUCT BUSINESS NOW AND/OR IN THE FUTURE. I REPRESENT AND WARRANT THE ABOVE AND FOLLOWING IS TRUE AND CORRECT.

Articulture Studio Z Tattoo Aftercare Instructions

Congratulations on your new tattoo from Articulture Studio Z! Proper aftercare is crucial for ensuring the best healing and preserving the beauty of your tattoo. Please follow these industry-standard guidelines carefully:

Immediate Aftercare

• Keep Bandage On: Leave the initial bandage on for at least 2-4 hours. For tattoos covered with a protective film, follow your artist's specific advice on duration, as it may vary up to 24 hours.

• Gentle Cleansing: After removing the bandage, gently wash the tattoo using lukewarm water and a mild, fragrance-free liquid soap. Pat dry with a clean paper towel.

• Moisturizing: Apply a thin layer of a fragrance-free, hypoallergenic moisturizing lotion. Do not use petroleum-based products.

First Two Weeks

• Wash 2-3 Times Daily: Continue cleaning your tattoo 2-3 times a day with mild soap and water. Apply moisturizer lightly after each wash.

• No Scratching or Picking: Avoid scratching or picking at the tattoo. Peeling and flaking are normal parts of the healing process.

• Avoid Sun Exposure: Keep the tattoo out of direct sunlight. Sunburn on a new tattoo can cause fading and damage.

• No Soaking: Avoid swimming pools, hot tubs, and long baths. Showers are fine, but do not soak your tattoo.

Long-Term Care

• Sun Protection: Once healed, protect your tattoo from sun damage by applying a high-SPF sunscreen.

• Stay Hydrated and Healthy: A healthy lifestyle supports skin health and can enhance the appearance of your tattoo over time.

Additional Tips

• Loose Clothing: Wear clean, soft, and loose clothing over the tattoo area to avoid irritation and allow the skin to breathe.

• Be Patient: Healing times vary from person to person. Generally, tattoos take about 2-4 weeks to heal on the surface and up to 2 months for complete healing internally.

When to Seek Medical Advice

If you experience signs of infection, such as excessive redness, swelling, pain, or discharge, contact a healthcare provider immediately.
