My name is Jae, professionally known as TheUnderrdog. I’m a skilled tattoo artist based at Articulture Studio Z in the heart of Downtown Fort Myers.

My journey into tattooing began when I got my first tattoo at 16. That experience sparked a deep interest in the art form. It wasn’t until I was in nursing school that I finally purchased my first tattoo kit—off Amazon, believe it or not. From there, I began practicing on close friends and family in my neighborhood, developing my technique and growing a loyal following.

Within six months of hands-on experience, I landed my first professional role at a tattoo shop in the iconic USA Flea Market in Miami, Florida. That moment marked the beginning of my official career—and the rest is history.

While I’m known for being a versatile artist with experience across various tattoo styles, my true passion lies in black and grey realism, portrait work, and bold solid-color pieces. I specialize in large-scale tattoos, where I can fully explore creative depth and bring powerful visual stories to life. Each client’s vision is personal and important, and I take pride in transforming those ideas into lasting artwork.
